Desmond Elliot replies fan over unfulfilled campaign promise

Nollywood actor turned politician Desmond Elliot took time out to respond to a query by a concerned fan and citizen who asked the Lagos State House of Assembly member about his unfulfilled campaign promise of ensuring constant electricity in his constituency.

In his reply on Twitter, the lawmaker representing Surulere I constituency said he could do nothing concerning that at the moment because he is not PHCN and also listed some of his achievements as a lawmaker while also reminding those who care to listen that he is a career person in politics.

‘‘I will work on it is what I said and that’s what I am doing. I am a career person in politics. We as a people are very impatient and that can be understood.

‘‘I will never promise what I cannot deliver, doing a palliative measure is easy but I am working on a permanent measure,’’ Desmond tweeted.
