Despite Abia’s N13m, diabetes snatches Nollywood actor Prince Uche

The end has come for Nollywood actor Prince James Uche after almost three years of battling diabetes, blindness, high blood pressure and kidney disease.

Prince James Uche who has been unconscious for the past five days reportedly gave up the ghost today March the 8th at a private medical hospital located in Festac town where he had been for two years now.

The 55-year-old actor who was scheduled to travel to India this Saturday for further his treatment died according to reports on his way for dialysis in an ambulance, leaving behind his wife and three children.

In January, Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu gave the actor some kind of life-line when donated the sum of N3 million and also approved N10 million as Abia State’s contribution for his treatment abroad but the donation will not be needed any longer following the unfortunate demise of the actor whose ailment kept him out of the movie scene and also led to an eviction from his Gbagada home.
