KWARA PENSION: Get your facts right, Saraki tells Nigerian journalists
Embattled Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, despite being under trial by his own party, the All Progressives Congress led Federal Government, on Monday said he is still loyal to the party.

Saraki also reiterated his belief that President Muhammadu Buhari will redeem his electoral promises made during the 2015 general elections.

He said this at the 10th Abuja Housing Show where top government officials and prominent stakeholders in the housing sector discussed on the theme: “Expanding access to affordable Housing in Africa.”

Assuring that the APC government is unwaveringly committed to the social welfare of the people and re-affirming his unalloyed loyalty to the party, he promised, “The Senate and the National Assembly as a whole believe very strongly that we must make a difference in the housing sector,” he said.

Saraki said that the Senate has kick-started the review processes of several laws affecting property rights and access housing in the country, adding that the review of the National Housing Fund Act is on-going and would be completed before the end of the year.

Recall that Saraki had recently, accused the president of not being in control of his government, a statement the presidency frowned at.

There were also allegations that the senators were planning to impeach the president, which the Senate has denied.
