The governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos and Imo states may be proving a hard nut to crack for the party, as the national leadership of the party has postponed them to Monday.
According to the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole, who announced the postponement on Saturday, the move was occasioned by logistic reasons.
Though no detail is available at the moment on the nature of the logistics, the Lagos State chapter of the party has witnessed a lot of intrigues over the alleged opposition of the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to the second term ambition of the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Also in Imo State, there is a groundswell of opposition to the resolve of Governor Rochas Okorocha to have his son in-law succeed him in office.
