Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, Friday pledged N1 billion to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

Otedola made the announcement in a post he shared on his Instagram page Friday afternoon.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Thursday night announced 14 fresh cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of people that have been infected by the disease to 65.

Recall that the businessman had through his foundation, the Otedola Foundation, donated N5 billion to the Save the Children Foundation in December last year.
