Did this viral video cost Gen. Adeniyi his position as Army Commander fighting Boko Haram?

There have been controversies trailing this video after the Nigerian Army effected a major shake-up that supposedly saw to the removal of Maj. Gen. OG Adeniyi as the Commander of the Headquarters, Theatre Command Operation LAFIYA DOLE (OPLD) Maiduguri.
The shake-up came days after the video circulated on social media showed Adeniyi relating the ordeal soldiers under his command faced in the fight against Boko Haram in the North East.

The posting which was approved by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen TY Buratai, had Adeniyi redeployed from Headquarters Theatre Command OPLD Maiduguri to NARC as Senior Research Fellow.

However, following the redeployment by the army, there have been concerns if it was the viral video that cost Adeniyi his position as Army Commander fighting Boko Haram.
