Dogara replaces Appropriations Committee chairman
House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara has removed Abdulmumin Jibrin from Kano state, as chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and replaced him with the House Chairman on Housing, Mustapha Bala Dawaki also from Kano state and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Jibrin is said to have hard serious disagreements with his colleagues over the handling of the controversial 2016 budget.
But the Speaker said it was Jibrin himself who requested for his removal from the committee.
