Supreme Mavin Dynasty boss Don Jazzy has projected that a Nigerian may just be in line to win a Grammy Award soon following the recent collaboration, involving Nigerian musicians and American pop singer Beyonce Knowles.

The music producer who made the prediction on his Twitter page said it is safe to say that Nigerian artistes stand a chance of winning the 2019 Grammy Awards after the collaboration with Beyonce as lead featuring a host of Nigerian musicians on the track list of her new Lion King-inspired album ‘The Lion King: The Gift.’

Don Jazzy penned thus on Twitter; “It’s safe to say Our people are finally getting that Grammy hehe. Cos beyonce go Dey world category this time around haha. And once the album wins world album of the year.”

Speaking on her new album which was released on Friday, July 19th, Beyonce said that she worked with several African stars like Wizkid, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Shatta Wale, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Moonchild Sanely, Tekno among others on the new collection.

According to her, the reason she worked with all of them on the album was because she wanted to ensure that she worked with the best from Africa and not just sample sounds from the continent.
