Don Jazzy's Mavin Records gets lifeline after sliding into temporal coma

Relief has come the way of Michael Collins Ajereh aka Don’t Jazzy after he revealed that his record label Mavin Records, which is also known as the Supreme Mavin Dynasty has just secured a major partnership deal with Kupanda Holdings.

According to Don’t Jazzy, the partnership is aimed at creating better opportunities for African music.

He also noted that the collaboration is also focused on scaling operations to meet the rapidly growing international demand for African songs.

Don Jazzy said, “our mission is to grow Mavin Global into the music powerhouse of Africa. By collaborating with artists, African creatives, local and international partners, we can become a globally recognized household name and the go-to platform for connecting African music with the world.”

The good news comes after Don Jazzy had admitted the fact that things are not going on well with his music platform.

The producer and entrepreneur who established the wholly independent music label on May 8th 2012 made that much known when he replied a fan on Twitter @AmbroseOkwoli who asked whether Mavin Records is dead following the exit of artiste’s formerly signed to the label.

“Mr Jazzy is Mavin dead or Buhari’s change has hit your label? This one your top artistes are leaving, leaving behind the learner’s and the upcoming,” the fan asked on Twitter.

Don Jazzy admittance comes a month after singer, Reekado Banks, whose real name is Ayoleyi Solomon, parted ways with Marvin Records.

Moments after jumping ship to launch his own record label, “Banks Music’’, the talented musician posted a message on Instagram thanking Don Jazzy for the opportunity he gave him when he signed with the record label in 2013.
