Seasoned Nollywood filmmaker and director Don Pedro Obaseki is gunning to become the next governor of Edo State, much so as eligible voters in the state prepare to elect a new governor next year.
Reports say Obaseki is aiming to achieve his dream on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.

Sources say Obaseki has inundated his friends, immediate family and close acquaintances about his intentions and he has in turn received their blessings.
“I have received blessings and endorsement of the Elders Council of the extended Obaseki families and a ceremony to publicly announce my intentions will be staged in a few days.” He said.
