Donald Duke declares N5.6m income, pays N400,000 tax in 3 years

The Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Mr. Donald Duke, has said he earned a combined sum of N5,618,419 between 2015 and 2017.

The SDP presidential candidate stated this in his tax certificate with serial number 290664, which he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The former Cross River State governor also paid N400,000 In taxes within the same period, adding that he made the said income from business.

The former governor also declared in his form that he had never been indicted for fraud by a judicial panel even as he said he had never been involved in certificate forgery.

He also attached his school certificate from the West African Examination Council indicating that he passed all subjects in 1977, excluding Mathematics that was not listed among the subject he sat for.

This is coming after the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), also declared that he made N60.2 million in three years and also paid about N10 million as taxes during the period.
