Dr. Takasu rewards Siasia $200,000, Mikel $120,000

Japanese Businessman, Dr. Katsuya Takasu, has expressed his desire to watch and reward Nigeria’s U-23 Eagles in their quest to win the football bronze medal at the expense of Honduras on Saturday.
Takasu who made public his intention to donate the money few days ago has been granted permission to donate the sum of US$390,000 to the team, as a reward for their performance at the ongoing Rio 2016 Olympics.
According to a document gotten by, in Brazil, Dr. Takasu will be in Belo Horizonte, where Nigeria will take on Honduras in the Bronze medal match and will give head coach of the team Samson Siasia the sum of US$ 200,000 while captain of the team Mikel Obi will take home the sum of US$120,000.

Similarly, the millionaire promised to give each member of the team a cash reward of $10,000 if they win the bronze medal.
Nigeria failed to qualify for the final after losing 0-2 to Germany in the semi-finals but the businessman who is a strong supporter of the Nigerian, team has promised to reward the team financially even if they don’t win anything.
