DSS arrests notorious gunrunner tracked from Niger Republic
The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested a suspected gunrunner in Zamfara State.
The agency presented the suspect to the Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, at the Government House in Gusau on Tuesday evening.
In a chat with journalists, the governor said the suspect was tracked from Niger Republic to Zamfara where he was arrested by the DSS.

He commended the DSS and other security agencies for their diligence and professionalism in apprehending the suspect.
Two PKT machine guns, 9 AK-47 rifles, 13 magazines, 171 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, and 9 rounds of PKT ammunition were recovered from the suspect in the operation carried out with men of 1 Brigade of the Joint Task Force Operation Hadarin Daji.
