DSS clears Saraki, says stolen N310m not his

Hours after Senate President Bukola Saraki denied the ownership of N310million said to have been stolen from his Maitama, Abuja home in 2015, the department of State Security Service (DSS) has collaborated his claim.

The DSS said on Sunday night that the money in question did not in any way belong to Saraki or any member of the National Assembly.

The security operative instead alleged that its dismissed staff, Abdulrasheed Maigari, who is currently standing trial for armed robbery, fabricated the lie for a hidden motive.

This is it then? DSS indicts Magu and helps Senate to reject his nomination, then starts to help save the the Senate President’s name and image from being tarnished. Great, just great. Classic case of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”? Make dem continue, there is God.
