Eagles confront Pinnick on outstanding allowances

Players of the Super Eagles Wednesday demanded to know when their outstanding allowances and bonuses from previous Nations Cup matches would be settled.

NFF President, Amaju Pinnick had visited the team’s Bolton White Apartment Hotel, but he was surprised when the players confronted him to know when their allowances, bonuses and return tickets funds will be cleared.

Pinnick according to our source present at the meeting said the NFF is making frantic efforts to settle the outstanding allowances.

He told the players not to rest on their oars until they ensure the World Cup ticket is in their kitty.

“The players had hinged their request on the fact that they are professionals and their rights must be respected especially in case of any injury,” our source added.

The NFF has in respect of this been pulling all strings to make funds available for crucial tie against Zambia in Ndola on October 9th.

There even plans to get a chartered air craft to fly the team to Zambia on Saturday.
