Eagles get outstanding $5,000 winning bonuses

As part of efforts to boost the morale of the Super Eagles, the Nigeria Football Federation has concluded plans to pay the outstanding $5,000 winning bonuses to each player that participated in the 2-0 home win over Swaziland during the 2018 World Cup qualifier in November.

The NFF delayed the payment following the refusal of the players to open foreign currency accounts in which the money was to be transferred to.

Already, top official from the Football Federation are in Kaduna to ensure the payments are effected while hoping the
move will fire up the players ahead of Friday’s must-win AFCON qualifier against Egypt.
