Ebonyi ward executives suspend PDP’s national vice chairman for anti-party activities
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) executive committee in Oguduokwor Ward, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has suspended the party’s National Vice Chairman, South-East, Ali Odefa, for alleged anti-party activities.
The party’s acting chairman in the ward, Herbert Onyedikachi, disclosed this to journalists at the end of the ward executive committee meeting on Friday.
Onyedikachie was accompanied to the briefing by other members of the executive committee.
He said Odefa was suspended for actions that were detrimental to the party’s image and interests.
The decision, according to him, was in line with Section 57(3) of the PDP Constitution.
