Eddy Remedy chides 2face for backing out of mass protest against govt

Ex-Remedies band-member, Eddy Montana has called out the ‘Africa Queen’ crooner, Tuface for backing down from his planned protest match.

This is coming a few days after critics slammed the decision of 2face to cancel the proposed mass protest when he noted that he tried to act as a man of the people, after he was asked by the Nigerian police to back down for fear that the demonstration would be hijacked by politicians.

In a message sent out to his close colleagues and some members of the press, the ex-hubby of Kenny Saint Brown, now Kenny Saint Best (KSB), noted that the people trusted 2face to speak out for them but he disappointingly backed out when they needed him the most.

“The people trusted him to speak out for them and they came out en masse. They needed answers but nobody is giving them any. Is our President dead??” Eddy asked in the message.

Continuing, the father of two said he will be staging a peaceful protest at Alausa, in Ikeja on the 14th of February, Val’s Day urging members of the public to come and peacefully protest in an atmosphere of love.

“I will continue with the protest in a concert like atmosphere at Alausa, on Val’s Day and I am urging Nigerians to join me in solidarity as we peacefully protest in love, peace and unity,” his message read in full.
