EFCC arraigns ex NNPC GMD, Yakubu, today

No more goofs, EFCC seizes correct houses of Fayose

Andrew Yakubu, a former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, will be arraigned today in court by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Also to be arraigned along with him before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja on four counts charge of Money Laundering is, Jide Omokore.

Other defendants to the charged are: Victor Briggs, Abiye Membere, David Mbanefo, Atlantic Energy Brass Development Limited and Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Limited.

Mr. Omokore was detained over the weekend by the anti-corruption agency on allegations that he connived with former Nigerian oil minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke to steal billions of dollars in shady oil transactions.
