EFCC arrests 14 suspected internet fraudsters in Benue

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters in Benue State.

The commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

He said the arrest of the suspects followed actionable intelligence about their involvement in internet fraud.

According to him, the suspects were arrested in a sting operation at the Federal Low cost Housing Estate, Makurdi.

Oyewale said: “The suspects are Austine Okwori, Osita Valentine, Skott King-David, Thomas Ifebuche, Akor Oche, Henry Adah, Scott Inalegwu, Ogbu Alpha, Samuel Moses, and Ogbonna Ckukwuaogwu.

“Others are Mustapha Adinoye, Sylvanus Ogbu, Emmanuel Adamu and Samuel Otene.”

He listed Items recovered from the suspects to include phones, laptops, and charms.
