EFCC arrests 55 suspected internet fraudsters in Kwara
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 55 suspected internet fraudsters in Kwara State.
The EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, said in a statement in Ilorin on Wednesday the suspects were arrested at different locations in Offa, headquarters of Offa local government area of the state.

He said the suspects were arrested in a sting operation at their hideout following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related offences.
The spokesman said: “Items recovered from the suspects include nine exotic cars, two bikes, laptops, smartphones as well as charms.
“The suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.”
