OSUN GOV ELECTION: Omisore's 'alliance with Osun people' shifts to APC

A former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Otunba Iyiola Omisore, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

Omisore was arrested on Sunday in Abuja, several months after he was declared wanted by the anti-graft agency.

According to reports, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2014 Osun State governorship election was immediately taken into EFCC custody in Abuja for questioning and there were indicationsSunday night he might be arraigned in court over the receipt of N1.3 billion by three firms allegedly owned by him from the former National Adviser to the President, Sambo Dasuki.
