Okorocha raises alarm over plans to arrest him after May 29, runs to court

Reports of arrest of former Imo State governor, Rocha Okorocha and his wife, Nkechi, have been refuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes and Commission (EFCC).

Earlier reports had claimed that the anti-graft agency arrested the former governor and his wife, as well as sealed his apartment in Eastern Palm University in Ogboko, Ide-ato South area of Imo State where Okorocha hails from.

But responding on the arrest, EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade, told Ripples Nigeria to ignore the report, saying “It is fake news.”
