EFCC to probe operatives over Bobrisky’s N15m bribery allegation
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited the controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, over a bribery allegation against some of its officers.
Bobrisky, who was released from prison a few weeks ago after serving a six-month jail term for abuse of the naira, had in a video shown by a blogger, Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan, alleged that some EFCC officers demanded ₦15 million to drop the money laundering charges against him.

The EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the invitation in a statement on Tuesday night in Abuja.
He said the commission’s chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has set up a team of investigators to look into the allegations.
“To this end, the Commission hereby invites both Okuneye and Otse (VeryDarkMan) to make themselves available at its Lagos Directorate to assist investigators unearth the alleged bribery,” the spokesman added.
