Egyptian police arrests 13 Muslim brotherhood members

A criminal court sitting in Egypt has sentenced thirty men to between 10 years to life imprisonment for plotting a church attack in the city of Alexandria.

During heated proceedings, the defendants numbering up to twenty who appeared in court, dressed in white prison garb, did not react to the sentences, and there was no immediate comment from lawyers representing them.

It was revealed during the court session that 10 others are still on the run and were sentenced in absentia.
