Ekiti court remands 23-years-old man over attempted murder
An Ado-Ekiti Magistrate Court has ordered that a 23-year-old man, Kolawole Taiwo, be remanded in the Correctional Centre at Aafo, Ado-Ekiti, over attempted murder.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Oriyomi Akinwale, told the court on Monday that the defendant was suspected to have committed the offence on Shehu Abubakar on February 2, 2021.

The Inspector stated that the offence is punishable under Section 320 of the Criminal Code Laws of Ekiti State 2012 while urging the court to grant him short adjournment to allow him to duplicate the case file and send it to the DPP for legal advice.
Meanwhile, the Magistrate, Mrs. Adefunmike Anoma adjourned the case to February 12, 2021, for hearing.
