Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Thursday, appointed Mr. Femi Adeoye as the state’s COVID-19 Response Ambassador for stopping his son from entering his home after flouting the government’s stay-at-home directive.

Adeoye, a retired Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) official, had reported the boy to the state government for violating the stay-at-home directive.

The man’s son has since been sent to the state isolation centre where he would spend 14 days.
