Elderson Echiejile joins Sivasspor on loan

Nigeria’s Elderson Echiejile has signed a one-year loan deal with Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor after a successful medical on Friday.

The Super Eagles left-back, who joined AS Monaco from Braga in 2014, has managed just over 30 appearances with the French champions.

And the 29-year old is joining the newly promoted Turkish top-flight club, a third loan stint having been to Standard Liege and Sporting Gijon.

The club Sivasspor confirmed the deal on their official website on Friday.

“Our club signed a one-year contract with the Nigerian left-back, Elderson Echiejile, to be effective as of the 2017/18 season,” a statement on the website reads.

Echiejile is Sivasspor’s third signing after they hooked Ivorian Arouna Kone and Hakan Bilgic.
