American billionaire Elon Musk has lauded the quality of the Cybertruck after an explosion involving one of his battery electric vehicles occurred outside Donald Trump’s International Hotel in Las Vegas, USA.

The FBI was looking into whether the Wednesday explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck, which killed the driver and injured seven others, was an act of terrorism, according to officials.

As it sat outside the hotel, the truck exploded and flames poured out of it, according to footage captured by witnesses both inside and outside the establishment.

Elon Musk stated that the “evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack” while praising the vehicle’s construction quality in response to the explosion.

The cybertruck controlled the explosion and directed the blast skyward, according to the tech investor who made remarks moments after a man killed 15 people in New Orleans by driving a truck into crowds of New Year’s Day revelers.

“The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards. Not even the glass doors of the lobby were broken,” he wrote on X.
