Emir of newly created emirate in Kano, Rano, rushed to hospital in ‘critical condition’

The Emir of Rano, Dr Tafida Abubakar Ila ll, is said to be in critical condition and has been rushed to a hospital over yet to be disclosed illness.

Rano is one of the new emirates, the governor of Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje recently created in the state.

There has been an increase in the cases of the dreaded novel Coronavirus in Kano State in recent times.

However, it was not clear if the supposed illness of the emir was caused by the virus that has continued to rattle the world.

According to a report by Daily Trust in a critical state but was referred to the Nassarawa Specialist Hospital for further medical attention.

The report quoted a traditional title holder in Rano emirate, who did not want his name mentioned, as saying that AKTH referred the emir to Nassarawa hospital due to lack of oxygen.

“The vehicle conveying the emir to Nassarawa hospital just left the premises of AKTH, the condition of the emir was critical at the time they departed AKTH.

“The emir is in critical condition and from the look of things, the situation is alarming, may Allah protect us all,” he said.
