JUST IN: Channels Television attacked, goes off air

Channels Television has resumed programming after an attack by suspected hoodlums forced it off air.

The station went off air when it became obvious that there was an imminent attack on the staff and station as tension mounted in Lagos as a result of attacks by soldiers on peaceful #ENDSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Plaza on Tuesday.

It would be recalled that another television station in Lagos, TVC, was earlier in the day set ablaze by angry youths.
