#ENDSARS: Ruggedman replies Mocheddah

Veteran rapper Ruggedman has taken out time to reply fellow female rapper Mocheddah who lashed out at him for calling out Nigerian celebrities for not standing in support of their compatriots who are being harassed and sometimes brutalised by SARS operatives.

In an interview with Punch, the vociferous rapper said Mocheddah’s comments were unfortunate but he has no issues with her.

“I really would not want to take issues with anyone at this time because I am currently putting finishing touches to my Ruggedman Twentieth September wears clothing line, as I am set to unveil its first hoodie.

“However, Mocheddah and I do not have beef; why would I have beef with a child? The first and only time I met her was when she ran to my car somewhere in Maryland to tell me that she is my fan. That was the first and last time I saw her.

“I cannot have any issues with anyone who is fighting a good cause, I would not use that cause to display any negative thing. What she did is just unfortunate but she was really tongue lashed by Nigerians and celebrities alike after her comments,” Ruggedman added.

Ruggedman had earlier posted on social media saying; “Dear Nigerian entertainers, Some of these people being brutalised are your fans. Some are harrassed while coming from your shows. Speaking up for them will not end your career or stop benefits you get from wherever or whoever. They support you, return the favour.” #EndSARS

His comments however did not go down well with Mocheddah who replied on social media saying it is completely wrong for him to force his opinion on others.

She wrote; “It is completely wrong to force your beliefs and opinions on others…If you want to help, just help and stop looking to see if others are doing thesame. Focus on your cause and stop judging people that aren’t.”
