Enugu Rangers reach CAFCC group stage, to know group foes Monday

Nigerian League side, Rangers International have qualified for the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after beating Bantu FC in both legs of their playoff.

The Flying Antelopes, who had won 2-1 away, defeated the Lesotho side 2-1 in the second leg of the tie at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium to advance.

Lehlohpnolo Fothoane was the goal scroer for the visitors, whose lead was truncated by Ajani Ibrahim before the winning goal came by Godwin Aguda.

The qualification is a thing of joy for Enugu Rangers, who last featured in the group stage of the continental competition back in 2004.

They will know their group opponents on Monday when the draw is conducted in Cairo, Egypt.
