Enugu Rangers seal first leg win over Bantu in CAFCC playoffs

Nigeria’s representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Rangers International have made a giant step towards qualification for the group stages of the competition.

The Enugu side recorded a 2-1 away win at Bantu FC of Lesotho in the first leg of the playoffs at the Setsoto Stadium Maseru on Sunday.

Bright Silas and Godwin Aguda were the goal scorers for the Flying Antelopes, while Lazola Jokojokwane pulled one back for the hosts.

The Gbenga Ogunbote team will hope to complete the mission when they host the second leg which comes up on January 20 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
