In from Nifemi Daniel …
Nigeria captain Vincent Enyeama has opted out of the Super Eagles Nations cup qualification against Tanzania.
The Super Eagles captain had sent a text message to the team Chief coach, Sunday Oliseh informing him that he would not be available for the all-important match.
Enyeama said in the text message that he has family issues that demand his attention and would want to be excused from the match.
Ripples investigation revealed that Sunday Oliseh is not taking the issue lightly at all and will soon be making an official statement on the matter.

Meanwhile, an official of the Nigeria Football Federation, has expressed disappointment on Enyeama’s attitude describing it as unpatriotic.
“The fact is that those excuses are not reasonable enough to stop him from coming to represent his country in a crucial Nations cup qualifiers. This is totally unpatriotic and unacceptable,” he said.
It would be recalled that Sunday Oliseh recalled Vincent Enyeama to the National team after he was suspended by the Nigeria Football Federation over his statement on the security situation in Kaduna.
