Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was in action all through for Leicester City in their 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.

With the win, the Foxes, who emerged champions in 2016, are keeping up the pace with leaders Liverpool and second-placed Manchester City.

The Brendan Rodgers team had dropped to fourth after Chelsea defeated Watford over the weekend, but climbed back to third following the victory at Palace, standing 8 points adrift Liverpool.

After a goalless first half, the visitors scored two second-half goals – from Caglar Soyuncu and Jamie Vardy – to see off their hosts at Selhurst Park.

Turkey’s Soyuncu netted with a stooping header that broke the deadlock in the 57th minute, before England’s Vary who scored a hat-trick in the 9-0 win at Southampton, sealed the win in the 88th minute.

Full-back Ben Chilwell came close to adding a third in stoppage time but saw his angled strike come off the inside of the post.

Palace remain ninth on the Premier League table with 15 points.
