EPL: United move closer to top four, Chelsea continue unbeaten

After a frustrating run of draws in the English Premier League, Manchester United on Sunday held on to seal a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur after a first-half strike from Henrikh Mkhitaryan put the Reds ahead.

The win has helped Jose Mourinho’s men get closer to the top four than they were before the game, having only 3 points left to level fifth-placed Tottenham and are 6 points adrift of Manchester City
lying on fourth.

In the other games of matchday 15 of the Premier League on Sunday, Southampton versus Middlesbrough ended 1-0 in favour of the home team, Chelsea and West Brom also ended 1-0, while Liverpool will play West Ham later in the day.

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea continue their unbeaten run with the 1-0 win over West Brom at Stamford Bridge. A late strike from Diego Costa in the 76th minute gave the Blues a deserved win.

Conte’s men have now won nine league matches in a row, and remain league leaders with 37 points, 3 points clear of second-placed Wenger’s Arsenal.
