Super Eagles duo of Alex Iwobi and Ahmed Musa were both in action for their respective clubs, Arsenal and CSKA, in the Europa League quarter final match on Thursday night.

In the game played at the Emirates Stadium, Iwobi’s Arsenal thrashed their visitors 4-1 to secure the advantage ahead of the reverse fixture in Moscow.

A brace each by Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette were enough to down CSKA who were only able to score once thanks to a suberb freekick by Aleksandr Golovin.

All goals were scored in the first half, and Arsenal could not add to their tally in the second half despite their dominance, but will head to Russia with a commanding lead.
