A relatively known Nigerian player, Paul Ebele Onuachu Thursday inflicted a serious defeat on Manchester United as his Danish club secured a 2-1 home win over the English giant.
The former FC Ebiede player, a club owned by Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh’s elder brother, Churchill Oliseh, scored a stunning goal earning Danish club FC Midtjylland a slim first-leg advantage in their round of 32 clash of the UEFA Europa League.

United had started positively and went ahead in the 37th minute with a scrappy goal from Memphis Depay.

The advantage was cancelled out a minute before halftime when Pione Sisto pounced on a mistake from Michael Carrick and scored with a low shot.
The three-time European champions Manchester were undone in the 77th minute by a goal from Onuachu.

The substitute pinched the ball after a half-hearted challenge from Juan Mata on the edge of the area and swiveled before firing home a low bouncing drive to earn the Danes victory.
