LIKE a drama series Saturday Vanguard tagged it long ago, the case of detained billionaire kidnapper Chukwudumeje Onwuamadike, aka Evans birthed another angle with the demobilisation of his fleet of trucks on his orders.

The order which was learned to have been given by Evans to his brother-in-law, Mr. Okwuchukwu Obi and his Manager, Mr. Chidozie Obiora from Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison, resulted in the demobilisation of all the trucks.

The reason, Saturday Vanguard learnt, was to prevent the Police from taking custody of them so as to settle his legal bills with money that would be realised from the sale of the trucks.

It was learned that Evans told his manager and his brother-in-law that his lawyer had assured him that he would ensure that the trucks would not be confiscated. Police sources disclosed that they discovered that all the trucks had been demobilized last Sunday during a visit to the Truck Park at Ago Palace Way.
