PROPERTY SEALING: Evan files fresh N1bn suit against police

Tired of his continued detention and slow pace with which his court case is moving, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, the alleged billionaire kidnap kingpin has reportedly filed an application seeking his release on bail.

The application according to reports also seeks for his case to be given an accelerated hearing owing to the seemingly slow pace at which his court hearing is turning out to be.

However, Evans’ bail application, seeking accelerated hearing filed alongside an application seeking to quash charges against him has been described as conflicting, confusing and an abuse of court processes by Ms. Titilayo Shitta-Bay, Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions.

Ms Shitta-Bay further noted that the bail application by Evans is a calculated plot to frustrate his on-going trial.

Anyone who grants Evans bail release has released an air because he will never be seen again

The same way the granted Kanu bail and he disappeared, once Evans’ bail request is granted, alas! the notorious kidnapper will disappear

Nobody will grant this idiot bail, everyone already knows he’ll disappear after his bail.

I don’t see this as an abuse, he challenged the court because he knows the case is too slow and crawling, if the court wants to sentence him to school, it should without delay so the kidnapper can accept his fate

The guy has confidence sha oo! How can he tell the court that his case is slow? Who is he to accuse the court of such? Let him go and serve one year jail term for his unreasonable application, the court can then continue his real case after serving the jail term.
