A 22-year-old housekeeper, Tanko Abdulateef, who was arrested by the police in Lagos State for killing his employer in the Lekki area of the state, says an evil spirit moved him to commit the crime.

Abdulateef, who was paraded at the Lagos State Police Command headquarters, Ikeja, on Thursday, said he stabbed the 50-year-old woman, Mabel Okafor, four times in the stomach.

PUNCH Metro had reported on Tuesday, September 6, that Abdulateef was arrested by police operatives in the Bali area of Taraba State about two weeks after he committed the crime.
