Even if election takes place in 2019, Buhari’s APC won’t accept defeat –Bafarawa

Former governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, at the weekend suffered an attack by suspected bandits, who stormed his residence and killed his security guard, Abdullahi Jijji.

The attackers were said to have also abducted his 16 year-old nephew, Abdulrasheed Sa’idu, said to be at the house at the time the bandits stormed the place.

According to the director general, Bafarawa Foundation, Dr. Sulaiman Shu’aibu Shinkafi, the bandits, who were over 50 and armed with AK47 riffles came on motorcycles and bought N5,000 fuel in the town before attacking the house.

However, Sokoto Police Command is yet to confirm the attack, which Shinkafi said occurred around 9pm on Friday.
