Ex-Senate President, David Mark, loses first son in UK

Former Senate President, Senator David Mark, has lost his first son, Tunde, who died in a London hospital in the early hours of Friday.

The 51-year-old Tunde, according to the Special Assistant to the ex-Senate President, Paul Mumeh, was receiving treatment for cancer at the hospital when he gave up the ghost.

In a statement by Mumeh, the late Tunde left behind a wife, two children, parents and siblings.

According to the statement, the deceased was “born on October 13, 1971 and attended Yaba Military School where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.

“He later proceeded to Bradfield College, Berkshire, UK, for his Secondary school education.

“He obtained B.Sc degree in Biochemistry from Kings College, London. He also studied Immunology alongside Biochemistry and later Biological Sciences in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, Cambridge, Massachusetts.”
