Members of the board of the Nigeria Football Federation are fuming with anger after the Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, on Tuesday pleaded for forgiveness for embattled Super Eagles coach, Sunday  Oliseh, whose ranting has led him into problems with the football body.

Oliseh,  on Monday, lambasted his critics, tagging them as insane while attributing the dismal outing of home-based Eagles at the last African Nations Championship to the NFF.

The NFF had decided to bring to an end the reign of the embattled coach for breaching terms of the contract he signed last year after the Technical Committee of the federation recommended the sacking of the coach and his letter of dismissal had already been prepared.

Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, however told the football chiefs to consider that next month’s double-header African Nations Cup qualifiers against Egypt was too near for a new coach to be appointed.

This move has angered most members of the board who vowed not to work with the erratic coach again.
