EXPLOSION: Fani-Kayode attacks Buhari for not visiting Lagos

A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has attacked President Muhammadu Buhari for not visiting Lagos State in the aftermath of the Abule-Ado explosion.

He frowned that Buhari only stayed in Abuja and had pictures of the incident brought to him.

The former minister described Buhari as being “callous, heartless and insensitive” on how he treated the matter.

He wrote on his Twitter handle-@realFFK:

“You claim to be President of all yet this happens in your nation’s commercial capital and you do not see fit to go there to see for yourself and stand with your people?

“The best you can do is gawk at the pictures that were brought to you?

“You are callous, heartless & insensitive!”

The Abule-Ado explosion which happened on Sunday left 18 persons dead, many injured and over 50 houses destroyed.

Many Nigerians have also condemned Buhari for chosen to stay back in Abuja and have pictures of the scene of the incidents brought to him by the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
