Explosion hits Ohanaeze Ndigbo president Nwodo’s home

Reports from Enugu State say that the country home of the president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, has been bombed by persons yet to be identified

The incident took place this Sunday following a detonation of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) which razed part of the home situated at Ukehe town, in Nsukka‎ area of Enugu State.

Nwodo was not around when the incident happened and no life was lost according to reports from the state.

Already, Police Public Relations Officer, Enugu State Police Command, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, has confirmed the development.

He said that security men had started a probe of the incident in order to find out what led to the unfortunate event.
