Ezekwesili bombs Buhari’s aide, Shehu over IPOB remarks

Former Education Minister and convener of #BringBackOurGirls movement, Oby Ezekwesili has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, as suffering from acute incompetency.

Shehu had asked the former minister to “rise above pettiness.” He accused her of tweeting “about everything but lost your voice on #IPOB ’s lawlessness.”

His statement was in response to Ezekwesili’s tweets accusing President Buhari of tribal leaning by employing military force against the Indigenous People of Biafra, in their agitation for self-determination.

But reacting to Shehu’s response to her comment on Buhari, Ezekwesili said in a series of tweets on her Twitter handle, “Well aware of Garba Shehu’s acute incompetency, so, let me give him another opportunity to study my advice to President Buhari and don’t rat off..

“Garba Shehu’s incompetency is legendary. ‘Presidential spokesman’. Model of incompetence.

“A man like Garba Shehu cannot give what he does not have. #ZeroExpectation.

“To a very incompetent fellow like Garba Shehu, asking his principal to arise and lead in time of crisis is ‘pettiness’..

“He wrote an incompetent response to my counsel for his principal, our President, to lead and douse a dangerous narrative.”
