Ezekwesili emerges presidential candidate of ACPN

Former Minister of Education and co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls movement, Oby Ezekwesili, has joined the list of those ready to wrest power from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

The former minister, who has remained a fierce critic of President Buhari, emerged the presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria ( ACPN) on Sunday.

Her emergence was announced by the party’s chairman, Ganiu Galadima, who explained that she was chosen as ACPN candidate during the 2018 national convention of the party at Alexis hotel, Abuja.

Galadima said, “We appreciate Mrs Ezekwesili for pitching her tent with the party and we have resolved to work with her.”
