FA CUP: Iheanacho nets brace, Ndidi scores in Leicester victory; Wigan, Brighton advance

Super Eagles duo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi starred for Leicester City as they advanced to the 5th round of the English FA Cup with a 5-1 thrashing on Peterborough on Saturday.

While Iheanacho netted twice to inspire the victory, Ndidi completed the rout with a late strike for the Foxes.

Leicester’s debutant striker Fousseni Diabate also scored twice, while Peterborough’s only goal came by Andrew Hughes after the break.

Iheanacho, who joined Leicester from Manchester City for a fee understood to be £25m last July, has now scored nine goals in nine matches.
